It is our belief that all western, traditional architecture can trace its heritage to Greek and Roman predecessors. Without a full understanding of that background, one cannot fully understand the more modern or vernacular adaptations so popular today. Consistent vocabulary is used through history by architects such as Vitruvius, Palladio, LeFever and Shutze, which creates the tradition of architecture. This traditional vocabulary is used to explain the nature of architecture, its elements, and its relationship with man. The tradition also provides a basis for the continuing education of all who are involved with our studio.

“As a whole, A Classical Studio strives to produce excellence in architecture.”
